Deep in the Wind -- March 1, 2022

Song's lyrics, are a series of thoughts regarding a range of events. Some events are personal, others are world events. Some thoughts are sarcastic, some apprehensive.

Recording
All software used is Free and Open Source (FOSS).

In addition to the above software, I employed a simple hardware adapter for this recording. For the guitars, I use a Fender Champion XL50 amplifier. That amplifier includes 2 outputs, speaker and headphone (jack). I used an adapter cable to route the headphone output to my computer's audio interface. That allowed me to circumvent recording room noise (E.G. air vents).

Lyrics

Now that it’s done, all the time, I’m waking up
Where is that place, you’re thinking of, and
End of the road, it’s been a, long time, I know
No looking back, we’re moving on

It’s a new day, oh those things, don’t worry now
Listen at night, sounds of rage and blight
So cold, for a song, muted by night
So empty a phrase, how could it be wrong

Witness a crime, repression tears at all our minds
How would we know, the silence cut us down
I had a dream, saw you call out to me
Never alone, when you are there for me
